ChildBuilders™ mission is to promote positive social and emotional development in all children and families.

Our vision is that every person possesses the tools to live an emotionally and socially healthy life.
We're getting kids out of harm's way, TODAY!
Prevent Child Abuse America, a non-profit organization that builds national awareness and provides research on healthy child development and preventing child abuse and neglect, emphasizes the need for community-based prevention programs that teach children and adolescents how to: (1) protect themselves from abuse, and (2) be effective parents.
We provide these programs.
ChildBuilders™ is a non-profit organization that has brought education and assistance to Houston families since 1974. Our programs teach children, teachers and parents important skills to help children lead healthier emotional and social lives. Our curricula include relationship education, safety education, and parenting education for children and teens. Students learn:
- personal safety education (We Help Ourselves®)
- skills for building healthy dating relationships (Love U2®)
- how to be nurturing parents in the future (Parents Under Construction™)
ChildBuilders™ believes that every child deserves an emotionally healthy life and we are dedicated to preventing child victimization before it occurs.
Bandages don't prevent child abuse. We do.
