Trish King, RN, BSN
Executive Director
Trish King has over 25 years experience working in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. She worked as a nurse in the Texas Medical Center for over 13 years. She was a founding member of the Child Abuse Prevention Network (now Healthy Families Initiatives) and was the board chairperson. In addition, she served as the board chairperson for the Texas Committee to Prevent Child Abuse. Formerly the Regional Executive Director of the American Lung Association and Chief Development Officer for Child Advocates, Inc., she joined ChildBuilders in 2005.

Amanda Siroosian, MPH
Program Director
Amanda Siroosian received her Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Promotion from Ohio State University. She has held several management positions with various non-profit agencies where she provided leadership and supervision for staff and volunteers and created, implemented and evaluated school, church, medical, and community-based programs.

Meredith Carr, LMSW
Program Manager
Meredith Carr received her Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Community and Administrative Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is licensed as a Master Social Worker in the State of Texas. Meredith has four years of experience working in the non-profit sector prior to joining ChildBuilders.

Michelle Sacks, B.A.,
Program Manager
Michelle Sacks received her bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, and taught in Cy-Fair ISD and Houston ISD for six years. Michelle is a certfied Bilingual teacher for grades pre-k through six. Prior to teaching, Michelle was a training and development specialist for JP Morgan Chase Bank.

Christy Logsdon
Business Manager
Christy Logsdon is a 20-year veteran business manager with extensive experience in accounting and technology. Her knowledge and experience gives organizations the tools they need to improve business operations. Having spent her career on the corporate side she realized her true passion and calling was in the non-profit sector for children and therefore began working for ChildBuilders in 2010. She understands the need to quickly assess business issues and propose solutions which yield both immediate and impressive results.

Holly Mellema
Administrative Assistant
Holly Mellema received her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Child Psychology and Sociology from Western Michigan University. Holly has six years of experience providing administrative support and also worked as a teacher’s assistant in a childcare center for three years where she developed a devotion to nurture and provide children with the tools they need to flourish. Holly started with ChildBuilders in 2011 and is excited to start using her knowledge and positive approach in the non-profit sector in a field that she is passionate about.

Donna Lowe
Development Director
Donna Lowe has spent nearly 30 years working in the hospitality and event planning industry. During her years with Westin Hotels, ExxonMobil and Texas Medical Center Corporation she had leadership responsibilities in sales and marketing, customer service and staff and property management. Additionally, she is involved with numerous non-profit organizations in a volunteer capacity leading teams, coordinating events, generating funding and increasing community awareness.

Rebecca Koch
Community Engagement Manager
Rebecca Koch is an expert in WHO® and Parents Under Construction™ program training, implementation and supervision. She has been with ChildBuilders for eight years and is our premier speaker and trainer.
